A few questions you might have
- Is this really in beta?
- Yes — PracticeProof is in private beta. Features, and possibly pricing, may still change as we learn from early families and studios.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. A parent can cancel the Family subscription online from Billing. Trial cancellation prevents the subscription charge; paid cancellation stops renewal at the end of the paid period.
- What are AI credits?
- Standard feedback is free. When the free AI is busy or paused, feedback continues on GPT-4o mini for 1 credit a take, and you can choose more capable models for a specific take. The Family plan includes 40 credits a month (they renew monthly and don't carry over); extra credits are $5 for 25 and never expire.
- What instruments are supported?
- All of them: piano, strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, guitar, harp, organ and voice. Pitched instruments get feedback on steady speed and notes in tune, from the lowest tuba notes to the highest piccolo; drums and other percussion get steady speed and rhythm.
